Department of Transportation drug tests are mandatory for employees in safety-sensitive transportation positions. Conducted under strict regulations outlined in 49 CFR Part 40. Can be administered for pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion and return to duty.

Includes Amphetamines/Methamphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, Phencyclidine {PCP) and Cannabinoid (THC). MRO included and results in 24-48 hours.

Not regulated by the Department of Transportation. At employers discretion, can choose the testing frequency. Applicable to safety-sensitive roles, pre-employment, annual or random. Testing can include various drugs, not limited to the standard 5 panel test used in DOT testing. Same-day results are available when requested in advance.
